Building Management Capacity of Cambodian NGOs (BMCC)

I. Purpose

The BMCC program is a project in which CNGOs can participate to improve their management capacity and up to 20 CNGOs can enrol in the program each year.

BMCC Project will focus on Organisational Management and Health Systems Management Training. This each one year program will involve you in:

- Your organisation training needs assessment,

- A tailored training program,

- Your organisation improvement planning

- And practical coaching of improvement activities on-site at your premises.

The training courses may be co-organised either by MEDiCAM, external or Ministerial sources.

II. Major Activities

1.    Training Needs Assessments

In the first step need the participants to fill the questionnaire before to coming workshop SWOT analyses.

Building on the initial assessment questionnaire the participant will make further analysis of your organizational capacity

building needs at this workshop.

2.    Training

3.    Improvement Plan

The drafting of an organization improvement plan for each participating organization, to implement new knowledge and skills obtained from the training;

4.    Coaching

On site coaching (at the office or project of the participating organization) by the MEDiCAM coaches; monitoring of and hands-on assistance with the implementation of planned improvements;

5. Mobilize experience

Where needed and where possible MEDiCAM will mobilize knowledge and experience among its membership, possibly in the form of twinning or other partnership forms;
